DON'T KNOW IF THIS RECIPE-BOOK IS GOOD OR BAD HAS I HAVE NOT USED IT YET SO I WILL JUST SAY A O.K
Very disappointed by this book August 10, 2010 EmsterPgster 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
I ordered my Morphy Richards slow cooker from Amazon last month and this was one of two books that Amazon recommended to buy with it. Absolutely useless, as the recipes all need to be adapted (by me) for using with the slow cooker. Pretty annoyed that such an unsuitable book was recommended. I feel a bit robbed!
If you're thinking of buying a slow cooker and want to get started with a good recipe book, then don't buy this one!
Not much of a cook June 18, 2010 G Thomas Im not much of a cook but find this little book very simple and easy follow...even I cant go wrong
Busy mothers' god send! June 16, 2010 Csigabiga (UK) Another great book in the BBC Good Food 101 range. When you've run out of ideas and want to cook something easy but also nutritious and good to look at, then these books are invaluable. Handy size, lovely photographs and short simple instructions.
There is a good variety of soups, meat, vegetarian, pasta and dessert recipes and all in one dish! Go on! Impress your family!
Pleased With this one May 30, 2010 Mrs. C. Barker (Hertfordshire) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Wasnt sure when i first saw this as a couple of the other reviews hadnt been too complimentary, but got it anyway, and very pleased that i did. Although our children wont eat everything we do, they are begining to be a little more adventurous and some of the recipes in this book have gone down a storm, especially the summer pork and sizzling summer cod. If we are goin to have the potato and mozzarella tortilla then i will cook extra roasties at the weekend and use thoes rather than buy pre-packed ones. One point i would make is to taste freequently as i did find some of the recipes lacked basic seasoning. Less washing up is always a bonus tho! Overall a nice little cook book for very busy people or just for someone wanting to be a little more adventurous with their mealtimes.
